Japan’s Non-Project Grant Aid Equipment Handover in Nuku‘alofa

NUKU’ALOFA-June 21: 5:44pm(Nuku’alofa Times): The Government of Japan handed over the equipment through the Non-Project Grant Aid Projects, NPGA signed in 2013, 2014 and 2015 to recipient ministries in the Kingdom of Tonga on Wednesday, 21 June 2017.

NUKU’ALOFA-June 21: 1:21pm(Nuku’alofa Times): The Heilala Festival has received it’s first ever Gold Sponsorship. MBF Bank donated $3,000 TOP to the festival. Tourism Minister and the Heilala Festival Director Hon. Semisi K.L. Sika accepted the cheque that was presented by Head of Accounting and Administration for MBF, Mr. Tevita Akoteu.

MARYLAND, USA-June 21: 11:32am(RNZI): Climate and ocean scientists say the longest global coral bleaching on record, which is coming to an end, has left a trail of destruction, causing major damage to reefs in the Pacific.
