PM dismisses Minister’s sacking rumour
NUKU’ALOFA-February 8, 2018: 4pm (Nuku’alofa Times): Prime Minister ‘Akilisi Pohiva had today dismissed rumours that he had sacked Finance and National Planning Minister Dr Pohiva Tu’ionetoa.
The rumor has been circulating widely on social media this week.
Dr Tu’ioentoa is still sick in Australia.
He has not been able to be sworn in and has not attended any Parliament sitting as yet.
PM Pohiva is in New Zealand, where he had gone for medical check.
The Prime Minister said there was no truth in the story that Dr Tu’ionetoa has been sacked.
