Fua’amotu Domestic to open Monday
NUKU’ALOFA June 28, 2018: 12.15pm (Nuku’alofa Times): The Fua’amotu Domestic Airport will re-open for operations on Monday, July 2.
This has been confirmed by the Tonga Airports Limited.
The domestic airport was closed down following Tropical Cyclone Gita in February.
The domestic terminal building sustained substantial damage and as a result, air domestic services have been operating from Fua’amotu International Terminal.
The TAL said that the repair work to the domestic terminal has now been completed by ‘Ofa Construction.
