Woman arrested with drugs and bullets
Nuku’alofa – April 12, 2019: 12.30pm (Nuku’alofa Times): A 32-year-old woman from Liahona is in Police custody after she was arrested with durgs and bullets on Wednesday.
The woman was charged for possession of illicit drugs and illegal ammunition.
Police have confirmed that she is in custody to appear at the Magistrate Court at a later date.
Police seized 20 pack of cannabis (10.20 grams), 31 cannabis seeds and 95 live ammunition from the suspect’s vehicle.
“I would like to take this opportunity to commend the Houma Community Patrol Volunteers for being vigilant in safeguarding their community, as well as working closely with Police that resulted in this arrest,” says Deputy Commissioner Vaisuai
“Having the trust and confidence of our communities is essential for Police, and the good relationship we share with them allows us to work together to hold to account those involved in the supply and distribution of illicit drugs.”
